these are very comfortable and light weight. I wear them 16 hours a day (1 hr driving to work, 13.5 hours at work, 1.5 hr driving home) and my feet don't hurt. Each size 47 boot weighs 403 grams. I have not added any extra soles for extra cushion yet. I bought a 2nd pair of these boots because I loved the 1st pair.
